Information we collect
We collect the email address used for passwordless sign-in, profile details you choose to publish, app links and descriptions you submit, uploaded images, reports, likes, and basic product events. We also receive technical information such as IP address, browser, device, referring page, and interaction data used for security and analytics.
How we use information
We use this information to provide accounts and public profiles, publish and moderate projects, send requested sign-in links, prevent abuse, understand product usage, maintain reliability, and improve Madenook. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
Madenook is hosted on Hetzner infrastructure. Resend delivers transactional sign-in emails. DataFast provides product and traffic analytics. These providers process limited information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies and analytics
DataFast may use first-party identifiers to connect visits and product events, including registration, app publishing, sharing, and return visits. You can restrict cookies in your browser. Security and authentication cookies are necessary for signed-in features.
Public content
Your username, display name, bio, links, published projects, and associated previews are public and may appear in search engines or social previews. Unlisted projects are accessible to anyone with their URL but are excluded from public discovery.
Retention and security
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account from settings. Deleted data may remain in encrypted or access-controlled backups for up to 30 days before aging out. We use access controls, rate limits, transport encryption, and routine backups, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may update or delete your account and projects from the product. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing.
